time for a new year

I have two sweaters on my knitting needles.  I am doing the cphoodie in red have the back done and working on both of the fronts.   and a  simple sweater that has the front and back done and have both sleeves on the needles so not much more to go on it.   will be working on that at the doctors visits and traveling.   will post pictures of these soon.   I am also working on a tweety afghan for my daughter for when and if she ever makes us grandparents but there is no pressure on her for them.  She has lots of time for babies later. 
now to get back to knitting or crocheting.   I am takin some time off of making things for the craft fairs.

Stocking done

I got the stocking done in good time and he enjoyed it and we had a great day today.  Merry Christmas all.   the first picture is the one that i finished today and the second picture is all of the familys stockings hung and waiting to be filled with fun things.

Here is what i have done  on the stocking that i am knitting for tomorrow night.  I am done wait leg part now i am starting on the foot so it won't take much longer to finish knitting.  It will be done on time.

Got my next stocking on my knitting needles now just need to finish it. should be able to get it done in the next two days. 

one week till christmas

I thinking i need to knit another christmas stocking this week for my daughters friend that she is going to bring home next weekend.   can't have them the only one with out a knitted one. 

there is still plenty of time and got 7 days.  I am making the red one will put updates of my progress tomorrow

craft fairs are done

I had another great year at craft fairs.    Nice to have them over have been keeping my hands busy crocheting pot scratchers out of nylon netting.
I am giving my fingers time off from making so many this last couple of weeks.
now i can finish knitting two sweaters for me.

going to learn

I will learn how to post pictures to my blog so you can see what i have been working on.   I got doctors appointment tomorrow so will get to go to hobby lobby.   I will be good while i am there.   I have two craft fairs this weekend so need to finish a few things.   so will be taking my knitting with me so have some thing to work on in the car for two hours both ways.

Looks like christmas

got the christmas decorating done this last week.   nice to have the tree up.   The only problem is that it don't feel like christmas outside.   enjoying the nice weather while we can.   I got three more craft fairs in the next two weekend.   Yes that puts two in the same weekend...one on saturday and one on sunday.   will adding new stuff as i get it done.   Have two specials orders to finish.  one i still have go find the red white and blue thread and start it. will be an easy project and not take to long and the other one i need to block 5 doilies so neither one will take much will have to get them done in one evening this week.

I am just starting to blog. I knit for fun and also have some customers that like to have me make items for them. I am a 50 old wife to the same Guy for the last 30 years and mother of one very wonderful lady. I do miss not seeing her as much as i would like. I have been knitting for at least 40 of my years and I also crochet and do other crafts. I do craft fairs and it keeps me busy. I also have a cat that allows us to live in her home. She is 11 years old and somedays she don't let my yarn get away from me by attacking it and holding it down. but sometimes she forgets that i am trying to knit with it. I knit in the car when traveling and have knit in public many times including concerts and NYC subway to name just a few places.
